I have a female fancy mouse now living alone in a large glass tank (there were 3 but 2 died over last 6 months), My friend has baby hamsters needing re-homing and I wonder if I got 1 or 2 hamsters whether they could all live along side each other without fighting.

  2. well im not sure i do no that the mouse might not like that because it is not familiar with hamsters and they could fight so im afrain i dont think so

  3. no

  4. no they can not hamster's will kill the mice i no for a unfortunate fact =\ so get different cages if u want to keep the mice.

  5. Um NO. They really will not mix and I would urge you not to even try it!! Mixing species is a bad idea and you may find that the mouse is either terrified to death by the hamsters or attacks them and possibly kills them. Additionally, when the hamsters grow up they are likely to attack your mouse too - hamsters are usually solitary animals that prefer to live alone, you should be worried about the hamsters attacking each other, let alone a poor mouse. Both hamsters and mice have different dietary requirements as well so it would be very difficult to feed them properly. Do not mix your pets - the fancy mouse will be happier living on her own, or if you buy her another female mouse friend.

    Hope this helps

  6. No. No. No. No.

    Different species.

    Different food needs.

    Different communication.

    Different ideas of groups.

Depending on the hamster, they may even have to live alone, apart from ALL animals, including mice.

    Hamsters could easily kill mice.

  7. I wouldn't suggest it hamsters can be mean!!!!
