Can mice get sick from going in water?

I was just wondering. Could I fill up my sink a little and let him walk around in it? Or let him swim around (with my supervision?)

mice can get sick from going into water but it depends what breed they are and if the water if warm or cold..

Mice would not get sick from going in water unless you don't dry them afterwards and they catch a cold.

Some mice actually enjoy swimming, I've seen some who would do quite a number of laps around the pool and then come back to the 'platform' for a treat.

But don't do it anyway. Most mice are terrified of water, and they can't swim.
