Can mice have abortions?

mice mouse had babies 2 months ago and i accedentally put a boy and a girl together when i was putting them in pairs.i didnt plan for the first litter, the retarded petco person gave me a pregnate one.but i dont want deformed mice.and i heard thats what happens when they mate

no they can not and yes they can get messed up its called insest its kinda like what would happen if a person brother and sister mated it would be a most likly have issues

No, I do not believe this is possible. Vets will not even neuter mice. You will have to raise the litter.

Yes, that happened with mine.  Separate the male immediately.  And I doubt that you can abort the babies.  Mice are just too small and the procedure would be just too complicated and expensive.  Call your vet though and see.  If you can't, separate the babies as quickly as possible (I'd say once they can see and are growing hair).  And take them to the vet to get sexed so you know which ones can't go together.

yes it is sadley but because of the imbreeding the mice often don't survive long

if you want if there is any problems with the mice you can take them to the vet and they can be put down
