  1. :(  Darling...your ferret is likely suffering from a chronic disorder, which is why this problem keeps creeping up.  He could have an enlarged spleen, blockage of the instestine (or any other intestinal disorder for that matter), or even heart disease.  All of these problems will give your ferret a bloated appearance and 'could' cause wheezing, coughing, and vommiting.  Milk will not do a darn thing for ferrets.  In fact, I have never seen milk as a cure for any ailment, animal or human.

Please don't let your fuzzer suffer any longer.  Make an apointment with your vet.

  2. Any pet that is throwing up a lot should be taken to the vets.  Please find out what your pet can or can not have before giving them anything.

Throwing up and bloated = vet visit asap

  3. I would contact your local vet, asap. That is unless you, yourself are a qualified vet.

  4. NO, if it's a blockage, a vet trip is definitely in the picture. You should be taking steps to Prevent the blockage before it happens. Now, get the fuzzy to the vet ASAP.

  5. DO NOT GIVE MILK! They can't handle it. There is a product called FerretLax that you can give them to help minor blockages. But you really do need to get him to a vet, these things are always fatal if the blockage stays there, and it's difficult to fix. After the vet fixes this, then you can use the ferretlax every couple of weeks to prevent blockages. No milk! Please take him to the vet
