Can minors fly to england alone?

me and my friend are planning on flying to england but can minors fly alone? we will both probably be 17 when we go if that matters and we will be taking the airport in columbus ohio to the heathrow in london.

i think so. I flew to Zurich alone and i am 14 so you should be able to. but the catch was i can only fly non stop. every airline has different rules though

You can, but it's better to carry a written statement of your parents, allowing you the trip.

Otherwise you may be considered as runaways by customs in the UK.

Yea you can, it depends on what airline you are flying. Some airlines make you enroll with the unaccompanied minor service. But it depends on the airline.
