  1. Nope! There are not enough mirrors or cameras to eliminate all the blind spots. Sorry.

  2. Blind spots can be minimized with mirror adjustment but never completely eliminated.  Even if they could, you NEVER do not look over your shoulder as well.  That's just asking for an accident.

  3. NO.  That is why they are called blind spots(and it seems that there always is a car in the blind spot)

  4. No!

you can ADD mirrors to improve the situation. Some larger trucks have several mirrors to cover more of the blind spots.

  5. Can be adjusted to help...

The addition of convex mirrors can help/eliminate the blind spot on the side of a vehicle. I had a 4" bubble on each side of a truck I had and I could see the door handle to the factory mirror next to it, and vertically I could easily see the rear tires (mirror angled so that the center of the mirror gave me a level line of sight to the rear). So it eliminated blind spots.

All of my trucks have some sort of convex mirror on them, some better than others, but all different styles (because of ability to place style/size of mirror).

Factory vehicle mirrors are usually flat, or have a slight shape to them, so your viewing angle is limited. In a vehicle with factory mirrors ONLY, I would never change lanes without actually looking (this is why I hate driving my wife's Ford Escape), but in my truck, I never look over my shoulder because I have the ability to see the entire area next to the truck, and even in to the second lane over.
