Can monkeys whistle?

Question

I was lying in bed one night and thought of odd things when a thought came to mind; can monkeys whistle? I asked my sister who hadn't the foggiest so I decided to ask this question myself. I would think so since humans evolved from primates but not all humans have the ability to whistle. So again I ask this question; can monkeys whistle?

With mouth they cant, but they may imitate people using a whistle.

according to this site at least some monkeys can.

Orangutans have been known to whistle as well.

No, not the way you mean it.  They can make incredibly high pitched screams, yells, and howls, but they cannot put their lips together and whistle.  One of the greatest sounds in the tropics is that of the Gibbons, but they, of course, are not monkeys.  They are lesser apes.
