  1. no. it can be added but cannot be used as a stand alone fuel.


  2. Ethanol is a purified form of moonshine. Cars could be configured to use it straight, but thus far the highest percentage in commercial use is 85%.

    Really, people have tried using more than 85%. It is not a good idea. If the vehicle is not sold with the E85  certification, one should not use more than 10% ethanol (or moonshine).

  3. They did it during the Great Depression and WW2 when gasoline was rationed.

  4. Older model cars up to 1975 can run it no problems.Today's cars with plastic intake manifolds and aluminum heads,just won't stand up to corrosion.
