  1. Unfortunately, there isn't much we can do without a change in the government's policy to limit international help.

  2. Go complain to the Burmese government.  The U. S. Navy has had 4 ships full of emergency supplies going around in circles in the waters off of Burma, but the government will not let them unload.

  3. Sadly, it is a lost case this time.

However, if we don't force every single conceivable way to make a British bride, that country's prime minister, maybe in the future the Burmese government could be less jumpy and more trusting.

  4. Aside from taking out the Burmese government?  Not much.

  5. Send them Bibles.

  6. Yes, but I'm not sure what as a nation. As an individual you could go over there and help them in a lot of ways.

  7. no

the military government  has total control

they take care of themselves not the people

  8. There's a lot more that can be done but it's a matter of being allowed in the country by the Junta to get them done.

  9. We could do plenty as a whole to help those who suffered from Cyclone Nargis.  The Burmese people desperately need vast amounts of aid to prevent further death, outbreak of disease, and to provide food.  It has been nearly a month since Nargis hit Burma, and yet the Govt of Myanmar hasnt let sufficient amounts of foreign aid and foriegn aid workers from various nations and organizations.  We cannot do more until their government allows more aid in.  We can only hope, for now, that they will.

  10. As long as the current government is in power we cannot do anything.

Too bad the people cannot rise up and defeat them.

If you think the USA is going to do something as far as military intervention you can forget it! Maybe someone like Iran will help out. Ha!Ha!

  11. Drop a few more daisy cutters on the burmese troops
