Can muffins be made in a madeleine pan?

Need to make breakfast bread for a back to school teacher breakfast.

  1. They'll be very small, but I don't see why not, though you'll have to change the cooking time.


  2. No... the shape isn't anything like a muffin.  Make it in a loaf pan, and slice it ... or in a square pan and cut into bars - assuming you don't have a muffin pan:)

  3. Sure they can. They will be more like muffin tops since madelines are not very deep. I think that's a great idea.
