Can music be recorded onto cd-rw discs or just cd-r? i used a cd-rw but it won't play in any cd player...

  1. Your player must be able to read CD-RW or CD-R before these discs can be used. Most of the latest players can read CD-RW or CD-R discs, check the manual for the specs.


  2. yes, but you have to finalise the disc first in order for it to play. rw means rewritable, so ideal for car, once you get fed up listening to it you can erase and start again. cdr's record once and cant be used again

  3. You should be able to use both as the w at the end of CD-RW just means re-writable so I suspect that the disk is corrupted and it has not been converted to the a relevant music file, try MPEG or WMA files and this should sort out the problem

  4. most of the time cd-r and rws work but sometimes when you add data to it you have to make sure it it finalized that and you also have to make sure that the player supports its did you try inserting it back into the computer to make sure it played as a audio cd

  5. it can be on both my cd-rw one doesnt work in my sterio but does in my tv so it must just depend on what u put it in try using something else to play it
