  1. probably not but you should talk to a doctor

  2. Take him to an acupunturist. He will probably do more for him than any amount of drugs will do. If he can't your son may have more serious problems than marijuana or modern medicines will do for him.

    Check with a neurologist otherwise.

  3. Why does he have constant back pain? Was he in an accident? Does he have scoliosis? If it is scoliosis, he needs to see an Orthopedic Dr. If it is from something else, I would try the acupuncture. Acupuncture is gaining in favor in Western medicine. It wasn't so long ago that Dr.'s thought acupuncture was voodoo medicine. Now, more and more doctors are recommending it for patients that have pain that is not being helped by conventional medicine. I am having back pain myself, and am going to ask my Ortho Dr. about acupuncture, because I don't want to drug myself constantly.

Edit:  You would have to have your Dr. prescribe the Medical Marijuana. Not knowing where you live, I don't know what laws you would have to deal with. I have heard that the medical marijuana that comes from the government(?) is said to be poor grade. You could look into growing your own - again, you would have to check your laws.

Personally, I believe it should be legal. I haven't smoked it in decades, myself. But I don't find it any worse than alcohol. But that's a whole 'nothr debate.

Add'l edit:   I understand your son was in an accident. He probably went through several operations

    (probable understatement)

Have any of his surgeons looked into newer methods to possibly help alleviate some of his pain? How about biofeedback? I know this may sound like a broken record, as you have probably tried everything known to help your son. I know I would. I will pray that he will find some relief.

  4. I believe you have to be 18 to get a subscription for medical marjuana

  5. not likely, i think you have to be 18.  and since its just a little back pain i doubt they would make an exception, its not like he has a vomiting disorder.

  6. wait till hes 16.
