Can my 15 yr old daughter who is an us born citizen sponsor her mother who is also in us legally?

im legally staying in us at the moment and i need to know if my 15 yr old daughter can sponsor me. I have 3 kids and they are us citizens ages 15, 12 and 10. They have never been to my origin country and i have not been to my country myself in last 16 years. I am having immigaratio problem now so i need to know if my daughter can sponsor me. Pleae help ASAP

  1. Take your children and go home.  We cannot afford to babysit you anymore.


  2. I think she might be to young. Someone that sponsors you must be able to take care of you if im correct. Like if you loose your job or something like that. But call INS and ask to make sure. They will tell you either way and also could answer other questions you may have. :)

  3. When your daughter becomes 21 years of age and can prove that she can be responsible for you financially making 125 % above of the Federal Poverty line.

    However, your 16 year of overstaying the visa might be a huge obstacle even though you entered US legally. Consult with immigration attorney for your legal advice. good luck.

  4. So, it seems from what you've typed that you have a green card or similar.   You need to call or write to the US Congressman that serves the area where you live.  They should be able to answer your questions or find out in a short period of time and let you know.

  5. a person(US Citizen) must be a least 21 years old to apply for  a relative.
