Okay, I'm going to purchase a car any day now. Every price qoute here in NY is outrageous for someone my age (19 y.o. college student.) Progressive qouted me 800 per month in NY and 400 in VA where I reside when I go to school. I put my mother's information in for my address in VA- her qoute was 100 dollars per month. I wanted to see if she can take out insurrance for my car which will mostly be in VA while she lives in NY?

  1. For automobile insurance the obvious way to get a great rate is do a rate comparison on auto policies. Make certain that you pick similar options with the same deductibles, auto type, location, etc so that all things are a good comparison.

What I most often recommend is an internet comparison quote at http://www.InsureAutoNow.info since they have lots of insurers and will give several quotes on car insurance polices.

  2. it's called insurance fraud.

  3. Insurance companies don't like people playing games. They may drop coverage if you have an accident & they find out.

  4. If they find out they will drop you may or may not cover you if they found out because something happened. And those prices will seem cheap after they find out.
