No the Workers Comp Settlement will not qualify your for the stimulus rebate.  In your prior question you were concerned about unemployment and bounced checks.  If you are going to get valid advise you need to present all of the picture as the answer may be different if only considering partial circumstances.  I would suggest that you see a tax professional that can direct you regarding your total circumstances.


  2. Workers compensation settlements are considered compensation due to a loss and that income is not taxable. Sorry to say that this will not be something that you can file.
