  1. yes she can . she sounds normal to me.

  2. She can eat as much as she wants to as long as shes not spitting up after she eats. And, as long as shes not getting too gassy. Make sure she eats at least every 3-4 hours though.

  3. It's however much baby eats. My daughter start eating 6 oz at 1 1/2 months. She got greedy but she slowed down. Lol.

  4. It sounds like you are formula feeding - I received this information from a Lacatation consultant at the Hospital I gave birth at - I am fairly sure it would still apply.

Here is a chart of average intake by weight:

8 lbs 21.3 oz per day

    9lbs 24.0 oz per day

    10lbs 26.7 oz per day

    11lbs 29.3 oz per day

    12lbs 32.0 oz per day

    13lbs 34.7 oz per day

    14lbs 37.3 oz per day

    15lbs 40.0 oz per day

    16lbs 42.7 oz per day

If you'd like to continue this chart, take a bayb's weight in pounds and multiply by 2.67.  That give you average number of ounces per day.  Then take th total ounces and divide by the daily feedings to find out how much to put in a bottle.

  5. Its normal a lot of kids do it. I was never one of those moms that scheduled my son i just let him eat what ever when ever, well formula any way. He just turned one and he is tall and weighs what he is supposed to.

  6. Every baby is different but the average for your baby's age is about 4oz. But since she is 12lbs Im quite sure she can handle 6oz without a problem.

  7. My kids did, but its important that you let your baby stop when she is full.  Some parents tend to force the baby to eat a certain amt thinking that is what they are supposed to eat, or that it will help them sleep through the night.  There will be times that your baby will eat 2 bottles back to back, acting like she is starving, and other times, not even finish half a bottle for hours.  This is normal.  Good luck to you, sounds like you are doing great!

  8. That's completely up to your baby. Is she taking in 6 ounces fine? Is she taking in less and seeming hungry shortly afterwards? At 10 weeks my baby was taking in around 5 ounces. Just listen to your baby's cues. If she's acting like she needs more then try giving her ONE extra ounce during her feedings and see how that works out.
