  1. Call your doctor, but I would assume that they will tell you to have her immunized before you leave, that way you both can get any shots needed before going overseas.

  2. You can miss your shots. It does not cause a problem. I did not start my daughter on shots until she was 6 months old. So, she got her 1 year shots at 18 months. It does not cause a problem.

  3. ask your doc, because some of these shots have to be given at very spacific intervals, such as hepititis or vericella

  4. check with the DR about what shots she will need to travel to a "new" country. And remember that just because we haven't had a disease here for years doesn't mean the haven't in the rest of the world. So pay attention to what she will need and make sure she has it.

  5. ask your healthcare professional because sometimes depending on what country you are traveling to, you as an adult may need a shot. So please ask them for more information.

  6. You really should talk to your baby's Doctor to be sure, because there are some that have to be on schedule. Not sure if they are at the first year or not.

Just give him/her a call and let them know you won't be around and would like to schedule the best time for the shots, the time before or after.

  7. Nothing will happen! It is your choice whether or not to immunize your child. Phone your doctors office to see if you can book the shot beforehand if that is what you want. But don't worry about anything happening.

If I am remembering correctly the 1 year shot is just a booster. Chances are your child has the immunities already.
