Can my boss force me to work overtime with out getting an additional lunch brake?

i work a full time job @ the American apparel but my boss is asking me to work over time, i use to pull in a lot of over time but i don't want to any more. so now hes telling me that i have to or else hes gonna change my schedule to work overtime. then he doesnt want to give me a brake when i work overtime. can he do that?

You didn't specify what state you live in, as some states have separate laws, but the federal law does not allow for any type of break, including meals: http://www.dol.gov/dol/topic/workhours/b...
