  1. nope

  2. If you're under 22, a fulltime college student, and a LEGAL dependent (he can claim you on his taxes) THEN YES, you can be added to his health insurance.  You do NOT have to be a blood relative.  Hence, stepchildren, grandchildren, etc...could not be placed on one's health insurance if that were the case.

  3. Nope. Looks like you're gonna have to look for a job that has health benefits.

  4. Not legally, even if he thinks he's found a way around the rules.

    They will check.

And you are probably too old to suddenly become a dependant of his, too.

  5. well i think that is really sweet of him and what do you think will happen IF your bf breaks up with you? i dont know i think its up to u.  I hope it works out well!

  6. Nope.

  7. Only if he adopts you. Health insurance in many cases is for the immediate family only, mom, dad, brother, sister. If you decide to get married your boyfriend can kiss his goodbye because you will be considered as his immediate family along with all the babies you decide to have.

  8. No, you can't add someone to your insurance if you are not directly related.

If you are over 18 and will no longer be a full time student, your father can't keep you on his insurance either.  It's not that he doesn't want to, he can't.  If you become a full time student again when you move to NY he can add you to his again.

  9. No u can't be added to his father's insurance although it's a nice gesture. You may want to look into getting a linx2health medical savings benefit card.  It'll help save you up to 50% off in some cases on any type of doctor's visit (medical, dental, vision, prescriptions, etc..) most ppl use it as a supplement to health insurance, but can be used without as well.  my grandparents and I both have it and it sure has helped us to save. so this could be an option to consider check www.5linx.net/lab under products for more info in your state. Hope this helps; good luck in college!

  10. No.  Your boyfriend's dad can't add you to his health insurance.  It's called fraud.  Get a job and pay for your own health insurance or contact Medicaid.  If you choose to go to NY, it's time for you to grow up and take responsibility for your own costs.
