I have a 2006 kia Rio and i was wondering if my car has enough power to be able to pull a jet-ski, and down the ramp into the water? I know it couldn't pull a boat, but a jet-ski isnt nearly as heavy

  1. Down the ramp-make sure you firmly apply your parking brake before you put the car in park. Up the ramp-put the car in drive and apply enough gas that you can feel it start to pull a little before letting off the parking brake.

  2. One on a single trailer, no problem.

  3. I have a Jet Ski and a Boat and I have never pulled either one of them down the ramp into the water. I have pulled them up the ramp and out of the water.

  4. yes, with no problem

  5. i would ask  someone like uhaul that installs trailer hitches on vehicles. they would be able to tell you if there is even a trailer hitch for that vehicle and what the safe rating would be. the manufacturer of the trailer hitch isn't going to overrate their product. i don't think they would want the liability

  6. Yes with no problem at all.

  7. Sure.  It's the pulling the boat out that's the tough part.  I saw an old Mercedes SL500 pulling a 15' aluminum boat at the launch the other day.  It was strange to see, but he ha no problems.

  8. yep just be careful when at the dock

    goodluck

  9. Check the cars owners manual and see what its towing capacity is. The ski is about 1000lbs or less, depending on what you have. Then see if you can get a hitch put on the car.

  10. Yup,yup,yup/// give er....
