  1. You can be fined if your area has mandatory water conservation and you exceeded the amount allowable. Your service will not be terminated as long as you pay your bill.

  2. They may not but you might wish the had when you see the bill.

  3. We are in San Diego county where we have the 20 gallon challenge (which severely limits the amount of water we can use).  Since the water supply from N Cal was cut to a fraction of what it was last year, we have strict controls on every use of water from hosing off the drive to filling fountains, spas and pools.  Although we don't have fines in place yet, they had them for a long time when I lived in LA and you may have them, too.  We do get slapped with excessive use fees based on the gallon tier (number of gallons used) our useage falls in which increases with each 10,000 gallons you use.  It basically doubles the amount you pay for the first 2 tiers over the baseline and triples it for every tier thereafter.  I would call your water department to see if they have the tier usage system or fines, but I doubt they will turn off your water, they just charge you either a fine or a heck of a lot on your next bill.  How did they find out so fast?  They monitor excessive users.

  4. Wow 3, in one house , and in the same week..Couldn't you've waited and fill one each week? But 3 wow thats alot why do you need so many? Well check and see with your cities ordinances and water conservation policies and then figure it out from there. If you pay your bill there should be no problem. However, I would make sure they didn't change your residential user status into a commercial user one, or your screwed. Hopefully they will just expect for you to pay the bill and thats it. They might/could issue you a warning or fine. Hopefully nothing bad happens. Good luck but still wow 3? why so many?

  5. Since you admitted to filling up THREE above ground pools in a week, that's proof that you are not a residential user.  You are a commercial user, so expect your account to be adjusted as such.  This means much higher rates and the addition of extra taxes.

  6. Wow must be nice to have three pools and they monitor them sometimes electronically they came out to ask if you had a problem because you used so much water in a week no less I used half that when my main to my house broke due to a tree it ended up saving me thousands well my landlady thousands. We still had to dig up the yard to replace the pipe but we found out before it came to be really expensive.
