Can my cousin study in Canada?

My cousin is an American citizen...and have been currently studying in USA for 1 year..is it possible for him to come to Canada and start his studies in any of the universities or even last year of high school?

  1. Yeah it should be possible he just has to make sure he has the requirements the marks, and any prerequisites he needs.


  2. Absolutely, as an American citizen your cousin can study in Canada. My suggestion would be to finish high school in the States first. With a high school degree from the States your cousin would be considered an "International" student in Canada. Some schools hold seats for "International" students, which may make getting into the school your cousin wants easier. Also, as an American citizen, your cousin would be eligible for the U.S. Stafford Student Loan and his parents would be eligible (if Americans) for the U.S. Parents PLUS loan.
