  2. well usually agents need connections thats how theyre good so it might slow you down alot!

    i suggest getting one

and agents are scams when they ask for money upfront

    look just go to actinginfo.blogspot.com

    and acting411.blogspot.com

and read everything you see! and click on things in blue but not doulbe underlined ones

and you got any questions ask me!

and i suggest you sign up with alan baltes(go to first site read right column you will understand) he wont be an agent jsut help you!

and for agents in your area go to talentagen ts.blogspot.com

and scroll down till you find city nearest you!

and if your in new york or l.a keep scrolling till you see acting schools

any other questions feel free to ask! i can tel you lots of info that like deadline for j.o.n.a.s and when camp rock 2 auditions start its info that alan baltes didnt put on blog but im signed up with him and he told me

  3. Agents have to pay for the information they get about auditions and such, so I don't really know if your dad could be one, or what he would need to do to get the information.

  4. NO NO NO NO NO dads are too controling and real adgents are mucho bettero (much better) at geting you roles in acting.

  5. yeah but I would`nt suggest it!

  6. he could

    my dad is my agent

but, he has to be smart

like he HAS TO READ EVERYTHING

    before he signs

and he has to protect you

    hope it help (:

  7. No, real agents are not scammers. Real agents are honorable businesspeople.  Your Dad could only be your agent if he has connections with the industry that notify him of casting opportunities, so probably not, huh?      Just look for an agent who is franchised by SAG, AEA, and/or AFTRA. Agents do not cost anything. But you will have to provide photos and comp cards.
