  1. I am not going to  say I am one hundred percent sure about the answer.Besides it really depends on the personal feelings.SO it would better for you to find yourself. Here is a good resource.http://health-insurance.expert-tip.info/...

  2. I think you will find that the insurance policy your employer has is something known as a 'blanket' cover.... basically it's a generalised insurance to cover all the employees of the company .... it will state what level of cover is available for what conditions and for how many people ....it is likely then, as it is not a personal cover to you personally, that your employer can withdraw this benefit as the costs of this insurance are covered by him with a small premium covered by you .... you can, if you want, ask the insurance company if you can keep the cover for yourself and what the price for this will be  - probably quite a bit more than you presently pay - although it might also be a favourable rate as you are an 'existing' customer ..... I think if you want some form of health insurance you would do better to shop around

  3. Yes. Your employer owns the policy, you don't. This is the primary reason that I advocate individual plans. He can't make you pay all of the premium.

  4. Yes as long he does the same for all of the employees equally.  He can't just knock off one employee, but if they decide next month that it's too expensive they could just not pay their bill and the plan would be gone.

  5. If your employer owns the policy, they can do anything they want with it like change benefits, increase your premium or cancel it completely.  However, ERISA law requires that they apply anything they do fairly to all employees and so they can't discriminate and cancel or raise premium for just one or a few employees.  They have to apply it across the entire group or entire class.
