Can my employer deny my husband and I the family plan?

We have no kids and my husbands insurance sucks, can my employer deny us the family plan if we are willing to pay the portion?

Yes.  My employer will not cover my spouse if she is eligible for insurance at her own job - which she is.

Get an indiviudal plan (or at least look at it).  Group is twice the cost (usually) than that of indiviudal.

No, they can't deny it if it's open enrollment.
