  1. He can adopt your daughter no problem. You want it so it's not an issue.

  2. Rights "over" her?  Sounds pretty sick.

How about giving your daughters THEIR rights and let thier REAL fathers be on their B.C.'s.  After all, those are THEIR records of birth, and should reflect accurately who parented them.

It's not about you and your wants; it's about them and having an honest, accurate account of who their fathers are.

Your "ex" can act like a father and love them all he wants to; does he really need a piece of paper in order to prove it?

  3. it may vary by area or state but in Wisconsin, he could not. You would have to be married to him presently and have been for 2 or more years. You could get legal guardianship for him.

  4. I would be surprised at any man that would want to adopt the child of an ex partner.  It would mean he would have to pay child support and the child would inherit from him if he dies without a will.

  5. why would you want a guy who ran away and left you to raise to kids by yourself to adopt you child?  You are almost better by yourself find someone who is going to stick around and be there for you and your kids.
