  1. If he didnt make the minimum requirements to pass his grade level, I'd say it's the school that decides whether he gets held back.


  2. i know in Australia that they cant unless the parent give them premission!

    in australia you cant be kept down without parents premission untill year 11 because thats when your legally aloud to leave school!!!

    maybe talk to the headmaster and see wat your options are... dont panic!

  3. If that was the case, then no students would fail and grad. late.

  4. Not usually.  If it is because of grades then you can't do anything about that. If they are suggesting that because of his/her low grades, he/she should try fourth grade again, you can tell them that he/she is going to go ahead to fifth grade.
