Can my friend get deported

Question

my friend when she was very little sneaked into the U.S along with her father. there her dad married a white women who is obviously a citizen. her father passed away years ago and she is the only one out of her siblings to be illegal.

and she is 15 if that helps.

The answer is yes and no,If she does not have money for an attorney to plead her case as to the fact that her dad was married to an American,Than if she is ever asked for ID or a social security number and does not have one they will take her back .

if any of them is 21 then he/she could help her out .

her best option as far as i can tell should be the woman her father married , to be adopted by her but u don't tell much about her so i not sure if I'm correct but she might be out of the picture right !?

another option might be to get her adopted by someone else she can trust , to get this done if there is a mom the mom would have to renounce to her rights over ur friend ... but it could be done as far as i know but fast since a non relative person can only adopt an undocumented child if such child is still 15 ( i might be wrong about this one but i believe this is what i read ) .

if she doesn't have money for an immigration lawyer please ask her to seek the help of catholic charities or any other pro-bono organization which helps immigrants , anyways as i told u she has to hurry up , her time might be running out ...

if she ever got detained and she has nobody back where she is from then she could plead than she would be in extreme hardship if she was to be deported .

this is all i can advice getting an immigration lawyer is the best thing she could do .

Yes she can. Since she is still a minor,her best bet is to have a relative legally in the country adopt her if that's possible.
