  1. The question is, how does he compare to you? If you do things that would be considered worse then you might not win either. Make sure you look to be the clear winner.

  2. my dad went to jail numerous times and has cursed me out more times than I can count on my hand, and still has joint custody over my brother and myself. now, Im 15, and the judge STILL won't let me decide what I want to do. so really, it's up to what the judge thinks and puts in the judgment. hopefully the government isn't as corrupt where you are as it is 'here'.

  3. Taking antidepressents does not make anyone less of a parent.  And when you say drink what do you mean? Like drinks a 12pack 3x's a day, or has a drink now and then? Does he want full custody or visitations or half custody? If he wants full custody he'll have to prove that your an unfit mother.

  4. I do not think that those two factors would cause a judge to not give your husband custody. A lot of people take antidepressants and they are still good parents and since it isn't illegal to drink than that would not really change anything either. If he was out of control with his drinking and it resulted in harm to himself or others than they may change things.

  5. Make sure you let your lawyer know this. Because he could put the baby in danger. He has some type of mental disorder the courts must know this. Pus he's drinking too, this is serious.

  6. if you can prove he drinks to much and to the excess and you can show proof he can't
