  1. Of course they can. They might not like being away from you at night but as far as proper shelter you couldn't ask for better.

  2. yes!!

  3. Huskies where those sled dogs "back in the day" so they should be fine.

But they would probably like the house better... You should teach your dogs not to wreck the house.

You could do that by telling them NO when they chew on something wrong and giving them a toy instead.

  4. Yeah that ought to be fine but if you park a car of whatever in there then make sure there is some sort of ventilation.

  5. Yes, they can. As long as they are sleeping out there every night as the weather gets colder into fall, they should develop the coat they need. If their crates are in a sheltered area out of the wind/moisture, they will be perfectly fine.

  6. No this is not a good idea. A dogs body needs to adjust to handle the extreme temperatures outside. You either need to keep them outside or inside. Do a little more research before putting your dogs in this situation. Good Luck!

  7. Over night they will be fine, as long as they got a dry´, draft free place to sleep in.

  8. Oh, they'll be fine so long as they are VERY WELL CAGED. There are lots of things dogs can eat/chew in garages that can kill them, and huskies are naturally good at escaping from enclosures. Be careful!

But they won't freeze, if that's what you were worried about. They are nordic dogs after all.

For some reason everyone seems to assume garages are as cold as the outdoors... I find that mine stays quite warm even in winter because the heat from the house heats the garage as well.

  9. I think it's perfectly fine since the cages are large and they can stay warm.

  10. well they are huskies and huskies do fine in cold weather..
