  1. wow expensive lessons maybe you should of gotten a job before spending what you didnt have. anyway cough up the keys you made a deal.

  2. Yes.  You made the deal.  Why shouldn't he take your car?  He deserves to be compensated for his work.  If you're not going to pay him, what other choice does he have?

  3. ur fault too bad but yea ask this in the law sec...... nah u just got ur **** tooken thats fed up u think u jus shouldnt pay

  4. You shouldn't buy things you cannot afford, you obviously could not afford the Karate Privates and now are going to have to fight a battle to keep your car.  I think he should keep your car and give a certain # of weeks to pay it off before he sells it for compensation.

I would take the advice of Katana and ask this in the legal section as I don't know what the Law would allow him to do, but morally I believe the car is his if you are an adult, if you are a teen, just get your parents invloved.

  5. How long did he give you to pay him back in the agreement? Was it written? honestly I think you need to ask this in the legal section and give all the details. They will probably be able to give you a better answer under the law.

Morally I do not see anything wrong with him taking your car as you had a deal, and from your description you have made no attempt to pay him. He provided you with a service and deserves to be compensated for it, one way or another.

  6. Well, a deal is a deal, but I can't imagine a reputable karate instructor making such a deal.

A 2005 Honda Accord is probably worth a minimum of $8,000, probably more like $12,000 if it's in good shape.

4 months of karate lessons from Bruce Lee himself wouldnt/shouldnt cost that much.

So there some injustice here, but pretty bad idea for you to have made such a deal.

  7. Please pay money next time.  You made a contract, a legal contract.  You need to talk to a contract lawyer if you want any hope of getting out of this thing.

Or----you could actually PAY THE GUY.
