  1. no u dont

if you had one it would say "Blu-Ray Drive" where it currently says 1 Slot Load DVD+/-RW (DVD/CD read/write)

  2. Only if the CD Drive is a Blue Ray Drive.. and then you must have the drivers for the drive.. if you dont know what drivers are, those are the programs the operating system needs to "use" the hardware.  Your other specks are fine as far as system requirements.  Basically, any computer built after 2006 can handle a blue ray cd drive.  Now there are Blue Ray ReWritable Drives, and hopefully there will be Blue Ray hard drives soon, because storage capacities are amazing.

  3. No. you have a dvd burner drive, not a blue ray drive. you need to get a blue-ray drive if dell even makes it for your computer. they are around $199.

  4. Your drive is a Slot Loading DVD+/-RW. Blu-Ray isn't anywhere in that list. So, no, your laptop can't play Blu-Ray discs, since your PC doesn't have a Blu-Ray drive.

  5. Unless your laptop specifications said it had a blue ray drive, you cant play blue ray. You would have to buy a laptop blue ray drive.Feel free to ask questions

  6. No you dont have a blue ray player in it. your computer specs would say something like Blu-ray Disc Combo (DVD+/-RW + BD-ROM) if it could

  7. Slot Load DVD+/-RW (DVD/CD read/write)

answer your own question... it doesn't say hd drive which usually means plays hd dvd and blu-ray.  (bd)

    not like my desktop

quadcore drive, hd drive, tv tuner 4g ram and a terrabite of harddrive space... freaking terrabite baby yeah.
