  1. yes she can but she has to sign papers to get a legal gardian i san antonio

  2. If you are a legal resident of San Antonio, you have to have your parents get a power of attorney and guardianship for you to be enrolled in that school district.

Either a family member or a legal guardian have to enroll you in the school district that THEY live in, not that you live in... Unless like I said, they have legal guardianship of you.

I just needed a letter from my daughter that was notarized giving me permission to care for and house my grandson to get him enrolled in Pasadena school, while she lives in Des Moines Iowa.  And it's rougher here, he's only 5 years old and barely starting school.

  3. It's best to have some sort of papers giving temporary guardianship so that this person can get you medical help if you need it, and make decisions regarding your education, like signing your report card and permission slips and choosing your schedule and so on and so forth.  And make other kinds of day to day decisions for you.  I have no idea what might come up, but this person would be responsible for you the whole time, just like a parent, 24/7.  This is a HUGE decision, so I hope everybody's up for it.....

  4. As long as you're living with a legal guardian in San Antonio, it shouldn't be a problem. Just make sure it's official because if the school finds out that you "legally" reside in Houston, they can kick you out and force you go to another school.
