Can my monroe piercing close up no matter how long i've had it?

I am currently looking for a job and I will have to take it out for interviews and also whenever I start working and I was wondering if anyone knows if I take it out while I work, will it close up??

Closing up depends on how long you've had it. The longer you've had it pierced, the longer it will take to close up. If you leave it out forever, eventually it may close up for good. Healing time for holes is different for everyone, though.

You could try investing in a quartz retainer. While it's not 100% invisible, it does make the piercing harder to see. Tribalectic.com sells them if you are interested.
