my polish freind is waning to go to spain or greece for a week but his passport has ran out an has asked me to try find out if he can travel there using his id card instead of his passport

    DOT has'nt read the questiuon properly she hasn't realised your friend is Polish with a Polish ID card

    Dinrobin is correct if you have ID from an EU country you don't need a passport (UK citizens don't have ID cards so they need pasports)
