I don't have time to go to town today and buy dried crickets. I need to buy something for the weekend for my pond turtle. Besides lettuce, what can I get her from the grocery store. She likes dried shrimp from the pet store..Will baby frozen shrimp work?

  1. Yes, but those arent the healthist food for a turtle. There probably filled with perservitives and othe spices. Look around you yard, you should be able to find some bugs.

  2. Shrimp are fine but expensive. The best supermarket food is liver (any kind). It's like feeding them a super-vitamin pill. Skip the head lettuce, though. Adult turtles might appreciate the dark green leafy lettuces, though.

  3. yes thats cool as long as she gets her regular food fish and greens..soon

I have had my 2 for 36 yrs and they eat goldfish and minows for the calcium and thier greens.,
