  1. sounds like well try taking her to the vet

  2. I hate these questions.

Did you breed your rabbit or allow her to be around a male? If so, she probably is pregnant.

If you did not breed her or if she has not been in contact with a male...no...she is not the Virgin Mary.

    Come on, think.

  3. It sounds like it. In a few days she should have them. Take her to the vet so they can help. They will take radiographs, give you etimates and they will guie you threw. A rabbit is pregnant for only about 29-35 days and takes care of the kits for about 5 weeks. Make shure the mouther has enough water. Keep the rabbit inside to monitore her and that you lession the chance that the kits will have hypothermia. Make shure the nest box is about 80 degrees so the kits dont get chilled. The kits should be moving by 2-3 weeks of age. At that time you should give them solid foods more. Weaning of off milk is at about 6 weeks. Dont handle the kits that much or at all bec she could abandon them making you having to feed them. Have fun and injoy the life of your new members!

  4. Oh yea, if she's pulling out the hair under her chin, she is most likely pregnant since that hair is what they use for a nest. I would take her to a vet. Good luck!

  5. Yes, your rabbit is in all likelihood pregnant .  Please research how to care for her and her babies.  If you can't keep the babies, do your very best to find them loving homes.  Good luck!

  6. If your rabbit has been with a male in the last 32 days then yes, she could be pregnant.  Those are all signs that I look for in my does.  It ususally means they'll kindle within a day or two but I do planned breedings so I keep track.  Gestation period is about 30 days.  Rabbits don't gain much weight when pregnant.  Maybe 1/2 ounce per rabbit if mom is a dwarf breed, more if she's a larger breed.

It could also be a false pregnancy, too.  Obviously if she has not been with a male within the 32 day time frame it would be a false pregnancy.

So, if she's been bred and it was about 30 days ago, get ready.  Give her a nest box with proper nesting material.

No need to take her to a vet.  She's not ill.  Rabbits don't need and don't want any help from people when they kindle.  Just check on her when she begins kindling but leave her alone.  She'll do everything - kindle, clean up, line nest, nurse when needed, wean them, etc.  Just clean out the nest box around day ten.  Remove nest box at about 4 weeks.

    Best wishes.
