Can my retainers move my teeth back to normal after not wearing a retainer for a week?

I got lazy and didn't wear my retainer for a week, and I noticed that they were a little tight when I put them on, but I didn't see a noticeable difference in my teeth. If I wear my retainers the right way for a while, will they eventually shift back to normal and not be tight?

  2. they might move back into place but your teeth will move if you dont where your retainer properly. you should go get checked to make sure.

  3. depending on how much they moved, most likely they will be moved to the original places, until ur retainer is the old type, u no, not the clear plastic invisilign. then u might have a bigger problem.

  4. After I didn't wear my retainer during the day for about a week my teeth never went back to the way they were...

I have never stopped wearing it at night, but they don't feel as good as they did when I got my braces off.

    - Sorry!!
