  1. well i am a vet

sunflower seads are grate for hamster but if thare is anything salted realy give them a good rinse with water leave them for 5 mins and then dry them and give to to your hamster

  2. Actually you can feed them salted peanuts and sunflower seeds ... I used to have hamsters and i fed them some once in a while and it was fine ... and all the hamsters I ever had lived longer(6-7yrs) then they are expected (3yrs) to live so obviously I know what Iam talking about. just be sure to feed them regular hamster food too ... and also if you want them to have a longer life feeding them fruits and vegetabes is a good thing :))

  3. NO

Do not feed your hamsters anything salted. You can feed them plain peanuts and plain sunflower seeds but nothing with salt in it. Also these are only treats and you can feed your hamster treats occassionally but the commercial hamster mix (the main food of hamsters) should account for 80% of the hamster daily diet and only 20% should come from treats.

Some healthy treats for hamsters are -

    Bread

    Skimmed Milk

    Bits of cheese

    Bits of hard boiled egg

    Bran flakes

    Carrots

Sunflower seeds and peanuts should also be fed in moderation since they can be fattening for the hamster.

  4. a teaspoon of flax seeds are really healthy, try that too

  5. No to salted anything.

Plain peanuts are fine and so are plain sunflower seeds.

Just no salt or pork. (pork is bad for them)

  6. No salted foods, they can be bad for hamsters, unsalted peanuts and sunflower seeds can be fed once or twice a week as treats. Never as regular food, they are too fattening.
