  1. You have the same company?

Yes you can, their system will read and detect the ID of your receiver and the CARD assigned to such receiver and it will always point to your account and your name. Assuming you have a valid account and pay your subscription, then it will be ok. Its just like you will transfer to another place, and you can't bring the dish..only the receiver and the card.

But be sure that you have same setup and package...for example your account is subscribed to HD and your receiver is also HD and so as your dish antenna is designed to received HD programing and you just bring the receiver to your friend's house with basic dish antenna in there(not for HD reception) naturally you'll have trouble receiving satellite signals for you have an equipment mismatch.

You'll not get in trouble as long as you are paying your bill.

Remember that once the card/account is activated its MARRIED to the receiver now both ID's are strictly identified and detected by the system, you can not buy a receiver from ebay and insert your card, you should notify the company that you have different receiver so that they can have the ID under your account..as far as I know all receivers are permanent property of the company..In short, RECEIVER and CARD/activated account are always TOGETHER.. bring them to everest together..
