Has anyone ever heard of this? If so, could you give some advice on how this would work. Like what type of competitions they could enter.

  1. this is one of the most logical questions ever asked on this site. it would definatly work. many people would enroll in this mind, body sport . one life would be saved at least. by being at this class. one young person minimum would stay off smack or crack. teacher would volunteer time . cost to school minimal . results , better physical, mental health . plus the knowledge that a bare minimum of one life will be saved . please contact athletic director at school. at my age 60 plus years old. it hurts to just watch . definatly a total mental, physical sport . miss , you have a great idea. very im pressed , i hope other people my age offer you the support and respect that you rightfully deserve . greate mind . you will go far in life . all the best .

  2. um nooooooooooooo way.

    you cant compete with yoga.

its supposed to be a relaxer.

    no a recreational sport.

if your interested join a class.

  3. Wow very good idea!! I love yoga, and yes it should be in to the Olympics..

  4. Yoga is no mere sport. Yoga means "union." It is the joy of union of the individual self with the Self of All. It is pure consciousness, Purusha, which is complete unto itself. It is the union of Atman, the Self, and Brahman, the Absolute Reality. It is the union of Shakti, the feminine essence with Shiva, the masculine essence.

Yoga deals with relationships, senses, body, breath, mind and the union beyond. Yoga is complete. It is whole. It is integration. It is the highest bliss. Yoga is like the wave knowing it is not separate from the ocean. Yoga is divine union. It is not mere sport. Yoga is the path. Yoga is the goal.
