  1. i honestly think that a child in special ed has problems if not they wouldn't be there i know frim experience they only show the decision makers what they want them to see my child is 5 and slow and i can tell the different now that i keep my 3 year old granddaughter and my child talked late walked late his cord was wrapped arounded his neck 3 times....but all that being said you have to get a lawyer 9 times out of 10.

  2. my son just got on ssi and my income does not affect his income unless mine is over a certain amount. you can call the ss office and ask them on how much. if you have had him evaluated by anyone who said he is behind in learning than he is eligible for ssi. you need to first call ss office and apply on phone or do it online then you will have to give a copy of birth certificate and medical release form. then they will look into it for you to see if he is eligible. I don't know how much you will get a month but you could ask if they would know. keep all paper work from dr. and ask the doctors if he is eligible for ssi. my son was never denied. and he isn't that bad. he is 3 and don't talk yet and has some social issues. he was just diagnosed with autism. getting therapy. good luck don't let these other post get you down.
