  1. Yes, but that would be a bit more complicated for the folks doing it so they may not wish to do so.


  2. Yes and no. You need a lawyer, ASAP.

  3. Yes they can be. Alot of that depends on who is garnishing your wages. In some cases if it is a payday loan company or something NOT court ordered you can sign an affidavit of defense which basically a defense to the claim that you owe the company or person and that you will make arrangements. You can write that up your self but if you were already sent a intent to assign wages you only have 20 days from the day your receive the intent to write up a affidavit and have is signed by the notary public. But like I stated earlier if this is court ordered then there isn't much you can do.I send and receive wage garnishments at my job.  Hope this helps. :)
