Can my xbox 360 play the orignial xbox games if i have xbox like?

Only some work but the only one I know for sure that works online is halo 2

It doesn't work w/ all xbox games. There is an update on Live that you can check to see which ones will work. Cuz I have tons of old games that I would like to play but can't.

You would only need Xbox Live for the updates.

Not all games are backwards compatible. Here's a list of the current working Xbox titles on 360.
