  1. since he has always played competitive tennis with his left ,I don't think there is any way now he could play with his right at the same level of strength and excellence

  2. I think any drastic change to his game at this point would be extremely difficult for him.

Playing right handed on hard and left handed on clay would be extraordinary though. He's probably win more on hardcourts.

  3. Why bother?  He has such an advantage serving lefty, it would be stupid to even serve righty.  I think he's been able to beat so many players, becaue he is lefty rather than righty.  They say he would not be #2 if he was righty.

On the Ad-Court, the lefty wide serve is extremely effective... the lefty serve spins the ball wide away from the opponent on his backhand side.  That's such a psychological advantage - especially since more crucial points get played on the ad-side, versus the deuce side:  0-40, 40-0,  40-30, 30-40, and Advantage points.  These are points where the game can be decided.

On the Deuce-court, the only high-poressure points at 15-40, and 40-15.

On top of that, it'll take a really long time to develop a righty serve, if he's been doing a lefty serve his whole life.  And he would have nothing to gain, and a lot to lose by switching to a righty serve.
