Can nero burn flv videos on a cd or dvd, I DONT WANT TO PLAY THE FILES ON MY DVD PLAYER, but on my pc?

can the files be stored as data on a cd or dvd. I DONT want the files to be played on my dvd player, i am just backing the files up and want to know if they can be stored in that format. PLEASE i dont want any converters

maybe you have to to get a flv converter, or other video converter to convert flv to mpeg, vob for burning into dvd/vcd,
