Can nhs midwives also work on private cases?

have found the midwife i want. she has taken on a part management role and has now been replaced with another who i'm not happy with.

  1. i think its up to the midwife. taking on private cases means a biger workload ontop of the NHS work, so its their personal choice. my friends mam is a midwife and she tried doing private cases on the side, but the workload was way too intense for her.

    if you dont like your new midwife, you can always ask to change to another one.
