  1. If they want to have s*x and have kids, then let them!  Get off their backs.  I'm sure that you've done / going to do something that's outragous and that no one will really like!

And it might be a bit old but if they want to ...

  2. I think its irresponsible more than ridiculus. Thats also being selfish, cuz you say you wanna have children, but you are not thinking about their future. Poor kids

  3. I don't know if it's the same woman or not

But I heard a 70 year old had receieved IVF which I think is stupid.

A 70 year old having twins does seem a bit farfetchd because the mortality rate in India, I'm sure, is lower than ours which is 80 so these people might be, as you said, dead before they've reached puberty which isn't fare on the children.

  4. Definitely! poor old lady.. lol..

I feel bad for the babies, their parents are going to miss out on practically everything in thier lives! Well at least they are twins and will have each other.

  5. hey my mom and dad are 91 and im fourteen lol

  6. I posted about this the other day. I think it's wrong on two levels.

    1) The reasons they did it..wanting a son. If they wanted a son that badly, they should have done it earlier

    2) The fact that their older kids are going to raise these kids because they'll be dead by the time the twins reach Kindergarten.

They didn't go naturally. They did IVF. I'm surprised any doctor even agreed to it at their age.

Sorry, but having kids when you know you'll be kicking the bucket within the next few years is just plain wrong.

The father is my FIL's age. I can't imagine him having another kid at that age.

Ugh. It just disgusts me. Poor kids.

  7. May be ridiculous, but it gives us older people a chance to hope that at least our s*x lives can continue into our 70s!!!

  8. Yep,

    Thats Horrible.

  9. I have to be honest:  I think the basis behind them wanting a child is completely selfish and inconsiderate.

The couple wanted to do this so they had a male heir to the family's belongings and such - but then they say the used their entire life savings to pay for the IVF.

These poor little babies might be healthy now, but they were born weighing two pounds!  This could open up other possibilities for illness' and long term issues as they grow older.

It is sad that they cared more about the gender than actually bringing a child into the world to love for them.  I would be disgusted by this reasoning of "producing a male heir" even if the couple was in their 30's.

Hopefully their siblings will bring them up in a loving enviorment and treat them as there own, because who knows if they also hold hostility given that they knew there parents for a better part of their life and will not be able to share in their family's legacy because they weren't born with a p***s.  It's just ridiculous and the doctor who agreed to perform the IVF should be ashamed that he helped along this whole ordeal.

  10. EEEWWWW!!!! GROSS.

  11. Just because someone can procreate does not mean they should.

  12. Judging by these answeres most people have

elderley parents.......i find that curious? but not

as old as these couple who obviousley paid up

big to get their wish!  ........... such corruption should

    not be allowed.

It is the most exhausting thing in the world to bring up

a baby and toddler! knowing the family arrangements over

there, if they are the rich ones, they will have an entire

family including maids to help raise these kids, so people

should not worry on this account.

One thought did cross my mind   ........  but its too personal.

  13. Woooow.

My parents are like 60 and im 14.

and even to me thats outragious..

    thats crazy k.

    haha.

  14. Modern medicine has some places it shouldn't go.  I am a 42 year old mother of a 9 month old, and I get a little more tired than I did when I was 22 and had my first!  I can't imagine having one, AND being an effective parent at that age.  I hope they have an alternative plan for the children a home when they get older.

Chances are, it's just a tabloid story.

  15. my dad was 57 when he had me, but yeah 70 is a bit too old i guess. but koodos for the plumbing still working at that age!

  16. Heya

Yes this is very selfish of them. when the twins are 16 i very much doubt if either parents are still alive. absolutely ridiculous if you ask me. =] x*x

  17. I saw this on CNN...not a tabloid story.

If you are on bed rest for 8 out of the 9 months of the pregnancy...how the heck are you going to keep up with twins?!!

The kids will be raising their brother and sister...

  18. All I can say is oh my!  I am tired now with 3 kids.  I couldn't imagine being 70 and having babies.

  19. poor kids
