I have a Magnavox MRD200 home theater and I have broken the remote. I can not find a replacement or universal remote that will work with the player. Anyone know of a universal remote that will actually work with this system?

  1. Thula H is right on the money.

I had the same problem with my Samsung HDTV Remote and needed a replacement.

Bought a replacement original at the same sight she suggests.

    Go check them out.

A universal will not control all the functions your original did and if you don't have a working original cannot program all the functions into the new universal.

So save time/money and headaches and go to this sight.

  2. Try here Lynette

    http://www.magnavox.newremotecontrol.com...

  3. try one of the logitech remotes that you can download codes to online such as

    http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?...

    they work with virtually everything...

  4. I just bought the logitech Harmony 880, currently on sale at Best Buy for $150 (normally $250).  I chose it because I needed to control 4 devices.  If you are looking to control only 1 device there may be other cheaper solutions, but Logitech has gone to great lengths to cover all manufactures/models in their database.  You program it over the internet.
