Can not get stain out of carpet?

My cat was sick over the past weekend and vomited over my carpet.I cleaned up the mess using my shampooer but I can still see the stain.I went back in using carpet cleaner yet I still can not remove the stain. I'm basically out of options and I am tired of seeing the leftovers my cat made.

Do you have a hand tool on the shampooer. It works a lot better than the main vacuum. Also maybe let the stain soak in the carpet cleaner for a while (an hour or two). If you cant get the stain out you can get someone in to replace the one spot of carpet. A professional machine (the ones with the vacuum trucks) are good for getting stains out.

ok this is wierd but it works ok.

TOOTHPASTE!!!! lol, i found out when my 2 year old godson came over to my house and spilt a bright red cherry flavour drink all over my white carpet.....we all know those drinks stain right?? well i used toothpaste, warm water and a scrubing brush.

You get the warm water in a tub, put a bit of toothpaste onto the sponge and scrub.....u cant even see the mark on my carpet now.

My kids threw down stuff on my carpet and I haven't been able to take it out with anything until I tried using Oxi-clean. It is a miracle product. Put it in some water and dissolve it as much as you can then rub with a scrubbing brush and vacuum it out. The stain should come out. I put in a little fabric softener in the water also. Good luck.
